'Swim Between the Red and Yellow Flags' patrols are conducted by volunteer lifesavers from December until Easter.
The red and yellow flags are generally set north and south of the clubrooms (500m north of the pier) inside the 'No Boating' Zone. it is in this area that swimmers should be swimming.
Patrol hours are generally:
Saturdays 1.00pm - 5.30pm
Sundays and Public Holidays 11.00am - 5.30pm, but these may vary to suit beach and weather conditions.
Function Venue Hire
The Sunset Room is on the top level of the Frankston Life Saving Club Building. It boasts beautiful panoramic bay and sunset views. Perfect for cocktail functions, weddings, conferences, or meetings. Walls of glass provide guests with breathtaking views of the bay by day and city lights at night. Doors open onto a spacious balcony area overlooking the beach. Licenced bar facilities. Fully air conditioned. Room caters for up to 100 people (90 seated). Catered functions or self catering available.
