Description

Phone: 1300 322 842

This is the artist’s story - starting as a teenager in the grey section, excited by graffiti on trains and along the Frankston train corridor. The green segment depicts the artist developing this creative passion with colourful masterpieces. The brown section explores the feeling of stagnation, confusion and frustration as the artist questions his hobby/obsession. The pink and orange section represents the clarity of the artist feels when he emerges with his own style and forges a new beginning.

Description

Artist Bio:
Silence is a self-taught aerosol artist with experience spanning 25 years. Raised in the Frankston suburbs, Silence has watched, experienced and been a part of the evolution of Melbourne graffiti and street art culture for the majority of his life.

Silence is known for his clean, sharp, strong lines and his attention to detail and determination for perfection.

His work is abstract, contemporary, reflective and nostalgic of the 80's and 90's. He enjoys experimenting with a dynamic combination of recycled materials such as pipes, rust and 3D objects to add texture, depth, and emphasis of a concept.

Silence has collaborated with local, interstate and international artists producing countless art works for non-profit organisations, private collectors, businesses and his own personal projects.
