There are about 860 FREE On Street parking spaces situated within the Central Activities District.
These spaces are mostly short-term and generally two hours, however, other time limits apply in some areas.
Motorists are advised to check signs before leaving their vehicle.

Parking for non-permit holders will be charged at $2.50 per hour up to 4 hours at six foreshore car parks:

Nepean Hwy, beachside between Frankston Pier and Olivers Hill (Melway Ref: 102 B4)

Disabled Parking
Many parking areas have spaces allocated for motorists who use wheelchairs, or have difficulty with mobility. A mobility map indicating these locations is available from Frankston City Council or to download here. Motorists parking in these areas without a permit can incur a penalty. POW Parking
Ex-prisoners of war have the right to free parking within the municipality. By presenting relevant information, council will issue a permit for display on your vehicle.
Loading Zone
Loading zones may only be used by trucks, couriers and other delivery vehicles displaying appropriate signage as they load or offload passengers or goods.
