Event Attraction Program
Frankston City has a growing reputation for hosting major events of a national and international standard including the annual Sand Sculpting Australia exhibition on the Frankston Waterfront, the Waterfront Festival, Frankston’s Christmas Festival of Lights and Festival of Rugby.
Second Round Applications are Open
Frankston city centre is transforming and to celebrate the new-look Frankston, support our local economy during construction and showcase the changes, the Victorian Government has committed $52,000 towards the Event Attraction Program 2017-2018, specifically to attract a significant event to the city centre.
If you have an event which will activate the streets, laneways and existing businesses in the city centre, increase foot traffic and support local businesses, then this could be the funding program for you.
