Point of Difference

Mornington Railway is a heritage broad gauge railway operating in the Mornington Peninsula between Moorooduc and Mornington.

We have both Steam and Diesel heritage locomotives and heritage passenger cars.

Running days are normally the first three Sundays of each month.

Experience the magic of train travel in a bygone era. Travel in lovingly restored vintage carriages hauled by steam locomotive K163 or one of our heritage diesel locomotives. The Mornington Railway is an operating railway museum, which recreates various Victorian Railways branch line activities "just as they used to be" for the education and enjoyment of the general public.

All Year TIMETABLE:

MOOROODUC (dep) 11:00 12:15 1:45 3:00
MORNINGTON (dep) 11:30 12:45 2:15 3:30*
