The Frankston Regional Playground (fondly named 'Castle Park') is located at the Waterfront and offers a play experience for children of all ages with a wide variety of equipment available. Barbecue and shaded picnic areas are provided for families, all within close proximity to the beach.
The Frankston Waterfront Reserve (22.7 hectares) stretches along the coastline for five kilometres from Long Island Tennis Club to Kackeraboite Creek at Daveys Bay. Offering areas of significant natural flora and fauna and a clean family-friendly beach which has won several awards from Keep Australia Beautiful.Frankston Regional Foreshore Playground
Children of all ages adore the Award-winning Foreshore playground where castles stand tall, tunnels capture the imagination and shaded sand pits provide hours of fun.
Separate toddler-junior and senior-level play equipment is available along with grassy picnic areas for families and friends.

Dogs are not allowed on the beach during December, January, February and March between 9:30am and 7:30pm. At all other times they are permitted on the beach provided they are on-leash.
