About the Festival

The Big Picture Fest is returning bigger and better in 2020, with yet another stellar line up, including some of the world's best contemporary street artists. Alongside these artists, interstate and local Frankston talent are helping bring an Aussie flavour to the 2020 festival.
The festival is designed to bring our creative community together and raise the awareness of this thriving city center as the new large-scale walls are painted live around the CBD during March. Artists will be painting live, from Monday-Friday during the festival.

Street Art Walking Tours – FREE during the festival
During The Big Picture Festival FREE Street Art Walking Tours will be taking place. To get the best views and insider’s knowledge of the new art, be sure to take a 1.5 hour tour around Frankston's city centre where international, interstate and local artists have transformed walls into incredible pieces of art. The tour will not only take you to the new pieces, but will take you to visit more than 20 mammoth murals around the city centre. With pieces from renown street art artists such as Smug, DVATE, Lucy Lucy, SatOne, Peata Ead, Phat1 and Lady Diva, you will be absolutely fascinated by the stories and inspiration that will be a part of Frankston's inner core. Tours will run on the following dates;
