New to the Waterfront Festival – NBL 3x3 Street Hustle!
Hoop City South East are proud to bring 3x3 Street Hustle Basketball
to the Frankston Waterfront. With the court positioned in the heart of the Lifestyle Zone, this is a fantastic opportunity to cheer on our local budding superstars or sign up a team to participate in this unique opportunity.
More than just basketball, in addition to a 3x3 tournament for ages 10 and under to Open Men and Women, there will be shooting clinics, Shoot outs, and NBL appearances. There will also be free shooting games, clinics and competitions for the public, with lots of great prizes up for grabs. Hoop City/3x3 Hustle will be a haven for ballers from all age groups and skill levels, for families, friends, teammates to come together and celebrate basketball and all its glory.
Hoop City will involve laying a full 3x3 basketball court in the Waterfront, activating in the full space for public to walk in and enjoy the entertainment along with providing a dribbling bay activation as well.

Pongo World Table Tennis

Pong. Pongo will be at the Waterfront Festival in the Lifestyle Precinct serving up some of the hottest looking Ping Pong tables for festival visitors to play on! Amazeballs! Participation is free (and fun)!
Visit the Pongo World & Table Tennis Victoria teams to brush up on your skills, battle it out with friends and family, and grab some action photos to share on socials. Competition prizes and giveaways throughout the day along with some fun challenges.
At 3pm on Saturday Melissa (Milly) Tapper will be joining the Pongo stand! Current Commonwealth Games Medalist, Milly represented Australia at the Olympics and Paralympics Milly is looking forward to sharing her story and some Pongo tips with festival goers.
Duck Derby hosted by Rotary Peninsula 2.0
The team at Peninsula Rotary 2.0 will again be hosting the Kananook Duck Derby, with proceeds supporting local community organisations including providing access to Frankston’s beach to the disabled.
On Saturday 10 February at 5pm, the Peninsula Rotary 2.0 Club will be releasing 1,200 rubber duckies into Kananook Creek from the footbridge at the end of Playne Street, racing to the collection point near Frankston Boat Hire (near Davey Street). All rubber ducks will be collected from the Creek by Scouts Victoria canoers. Tickets are $10 each with plenty of prizes up for grabs!
New to this year is the Corporate Duck Race, providing local businesses the opportunity to decorate their own official duck with prizes for the race winner and best decorated duck.

TAC Activation
Saturday - activities from 4.30-8.30pm, breath-testing from 8.30-10.30pm
Sunday - activities from 2-5.30pm, breath-testing from 5.30-8.30pm
The TAC will be onsite across the festival weekend with giveaways and breath testing with Vanessa.
The most important part of a night out is making it home. Vanessa arms young people with the tools they need to make road-safe decisions, in the moment they need them, with zero judgement. We want to make sure everyone has a great time at the festival and that they get home safely. Come and chat to the team to learn more about their important safety messages.
Scouts Victoria
There are plenty of activities happening at the Scouts Victoria activity zone, with canoeing in Kananook Creek, hatchet throwing, rope bridge and the bouldering wall.
Hawthorn Football Club Mascot Appearances
Saturday 3.15 - 7.45pm, Sunday 1.15 - 5.45pm
The Hawthorn Football Club mascots, Hawka & Hawkette will be making appearances in the AFLW area as part of the Lifestyle Precinct on Saturday & Sunday! Try your luck at the handball target, grab a pic with your favourite mascot and enjoy the summer vibes relaxing in one of the shaded AFLW deck chairs.
Scott Hone's BMX Trick Shows

The kids will absolutely love and parents will totally adore Scott Hone’s BMX Trick Show.
On his BMX bike, world-renowned trick rider, Scott Hone, will lead audiences on a real experience made of dreams. Although nearly everybody has ridden a bike, no-one rides a bike like Hone. Backwards on the front wheel. Frontwards on the back wheel. Frontwards on the front wheel backwards upside-down.
Telling the story of his first bike all the way to joining the circus, Hone demonstrates how perseverance, thinking creatively, and trying new things can lead you on a grand adventure through life.
